Spain is located in Europe. It's largest city and capitol is Madrid, with Barcelona coming in as the second largest city. It is widely believed that the first humans arrived in Spain more than 32000 years ago, and since then, the population has grown to a massive 47 million. Spain is divided from France by the mountain range known as the Pyrenees, and it's tallest mountain is Mount Teide, which is more than 12198 feet tall. (That's 3718 meters) Spain has one of the most successful tourist industries in the world, attracting people with it's 4964 km of coastline and 8000 km of beach. The name "Spain" was taken from the word "Ispania", which translates to English as "Land of the Rabbits"
